Living with Wildlife
Sightings of wildlife are often a highlight of our visits to “cottage country”. Wild animals are fascinating to observe while our encounters with them provide a refreshing insight to the natural world.
Since these creatures live in cottage country year-round, we must remember that we have come into their world and are asking them to share. Although “conflicts” with wildlife may arise, some understanding of the animal’s characteristics and needs will help us take a humane approach to resolving or preventing problems.
Aspen Valley Wildlife Sanctuary has created a detailed guide to help you co-exist with many wild species. Click here to download this helpful pdf file.
