Lynx at the SanctuaryA Lynx is slightly larger than a Bobcat with longer legs bigger ear tufts and a lighter less spotted coat. They both have extraordinary night vision and are rarely seen as they hunt at night and stay clear from human populations. They can see a mouse from 75m (250ft) and they can leap more than 4m (13ft) in a single jump. They have very wide paws covered in a thick fur, which enables them to run on the deep snow.

Please note:  lynx shown here is not a native species, but rather is a Eurasian Lynx, formerly someone's pet.
