Toronto Star - has published an article on the Sanctuary. Recently
they printed an article on the
orphaned bear problem in Ontario.

CKOC, the TV station that was in Kitchener, was the first television
station that gave us major help. They had a phone-in program, for Swampy
the beaver, which raised enough money to build our very first beaver
enclosure.
Norman Lightfoot, an independent producer, made the first documentary
on the Sanctuary.
John and Janet Foster, well known producers, did a feature
documentary on the Sanctuary, which continues to be shown on such
stations as TVO and Discovery.
Brandon Connell from Candu productions for Paramount Studios in Los
Angeles made a documentary, which has received continent wide viewing.
CBC has done several interviews regarding bears, wolves and beavers.
Kingston Whig – Standard has published an article on the Sanctuary.
BBC TV, London England has done 2 programmes on the Sanctuary.
ABC, Australia has done a full-length documentary about the
Sanctuary.
Italian TV did a program on the fur trade in which Quibble (our
Beaver) appeared as a protest!
MacLean’s Weekly Newsmagazine published an article "Animal Wrongs" in
January 2001, on the exotic pet trade and featured our Lioness "Subira".
The Muskokan – has published various articles over the years.
Parry Sound North Star has been publishing "Sanctuary" an annual
Special Section since 1996.
