The twelve days of winter – Aspen Valley Style…

(to be sung to the tune of the traditional Twelve Days of Christmas)

On the first day of winter Mother Nature brought to me:
A beaver named Bebe who loves trees

On the second day of winter Mother Nature brought to me:
Two otters wimming otterss swimming and a beaver named Bebe who loves trees

On the third day of winter mother Nature brought to me;
Three feet of snow,
Two otteswimming ottersrs swimming and a beaver named Bebe who loves trees

On the fourth day of winter Mother Nature brought to me;
Four staff with colds,
Three feet of snow,
Two swimming otters and a beaver named Bebe who loves trees

On the fifth day of winter, Mother Nature brought to me;
Five Howling wolves
Four staff with colds
Three feet of snow
Two swimming otters and a beaver named Bebe who loves trees

On the sixth day of winter Mother Nature brought to me
Six seagulls swooping
Five howling wolves
Four staff with colds
Three feet of snow
Two swimming otters and a beaver named Bebe who loves trees

On the seventh day of winter Mother Nature brought to me
Seven plus seven raccoons playing
Six seagulls swooping
Five Howling Wolves
Four staff with colds
Three feet of snow

On the eighth day of winter Mother Nature brought to me
Eight hungry bear cubs
Seven plus seven raccoons playing
Six seagulls swooping
Five Howling Wolves

On the Ninth day of winter, Mother Nature brought to me
Nine mice a nibbling
Eight hungry bear cubs

Six seagulls swooping
Five Howling Wolves
Four staff with colds
Three feet of snow

On the tenth day of winter, Mother Nature brought to me
Ten Fawns frolicking
Nine mice a nibbling
Eight hungry bear cubs
Seven plus seven raccoons playing
 Six seagulls swooping
Five Howling Wolves
Four staff with colds
Three feet of snow
Two swimming otters and a beaver named Bebe who loves trees

On the eleventh day of winter Mother Nature brought to me
Eleven plus many squirrels more
Ten Fawns frolicking
Nine mice a nibbling
Eight hungry bear cubs
Seven plus seven raccoons playing
 Six seagulls swooping
Five Howling Wolves
Four staff with colds
Three feet of snow

On the twelfth day of winter Mother Nature brought to me
Twelve months of wonder
Eleven plus many squirrels more
Ten Fawns frolicking
Nine mice a nibbling
Eight hungry bear cubs
Seven plus seven raccoons playing
 Six seagulls swooping
Five Howling Wolves
Four staff with colds
Three feet of snow
Two swimming otters and a beaver named Bebe who loves trees
