The Wolf

All dogs descended from wolves 10,000 to 20,000 years ago and the two can still interbreed. Wolf attacks on humans are extremely rare throughout history. Wolf packs usually consist of a dominant mating pair, several generations of their offspring and sometimes aunts and uncles, occasionally lone wolves are accepted into the pack. Only the dominant female breeds and the whole pack help to raise them. Usually before a hunt they all join in a group howl in anticipation of a feast.
